Thank you SO much for the prayers – they worked, truly. Bella’s family is so happy that she is in perfect health again. It was very frightening for them with her in the hospital, but the antibiotics cleared up the infection (do we know what it was?) and she is her normal precocious little self! She eats solids *already*, can you believe it? And she smiles like a little angel… We can see Ava’s eyes and head shape in her. Way to go little Isabella!
I am quite drooly these days, because I have 2 new teeth! They are my bottom ones, and they are very beautiful. I love using them on people’s fingers and on my toys. For the past 3 days I have been a very cheerful girl, but for the 2.5 weeks prior to that I was not my usual self. Not only were my teeth pushing through, but I was a little sick (I was fighting off the stomach flu that ran through our family and also had Fifth Disease). It feels so good to be “me” again! (And mommy is very happy to have me back too!)
I turn *6 months old* today! For my half birthday, my mommy let me take my first real bath. Oh, I am so proud! I was hesitant for 10 seconds or so, and then loved loved loved it. I discovered how to splash the water with my palms within the first minute. And then I discovered my feeties under water (see me playing with them?).
(stomach virus blasting through our house, sorry for so few updates, mommy has a LOT to update… soon!), *BUT*:
My 3-month old little sister Isabella in Louisiana needs prayers – she is in the Pediatric Intensive Care! She has some kind of infection; she had a spinal tap, and they are waiting to figure out what kind of infection it is. Please join us as we*pray* for Isabella and my birth mommy Jenelle, and her whole family…

My Adoption Day was January 3rd! We will celebrate this (like my birthday) every year – it is the one-year anniversary of my adoption finalization – the day I *legally* became a Smith. My mommy and daddy got a little emotional on this day, because they are so crazy in love with me, and so very thankful to my birth mommy Jenelle for giving me this wonderful life with them. Mommy says: “happy Adoption Day, sweetie”.
