We brush our teeth with our light-up toothbrushes in mommy’s side of the bed. We also eat cookies there. Mommy itches at night and smells very minty in the morning, haha.

My two teeth require a very thorough cleaning.

We are playing dolls in my crib.

January 27, 2007

We are in Ava’s crib playing with some of the dolls my gammy gave us for Christmas. Okay, maybe Ava is playing with them, and I am “chewing” them, ha ha.

January 27, 2007

This is 3 weeks ago, but too cute to not post at my blog! Sweet potatoes!

January 27, 2007

We had so much fun! This was my sissie’s first real bath, and I got to show her how to do it! We both loved it, we barely even looked at mommy (who was grinning from ear to ear and snapping pictures and occassionally picking Keira upright again). Keira has sensitive skin, so no bubbles, though…

January 27, 2007

My daddy is showing me how to brush my teeth. My grandma (currently called “Beba” or Gggma) gave me this power toothbrush. It tickles!

I dance with the children in my Baby Einstein video :)

January 27, 2007

This picture is very precious to my daddy, because he has a similar picture of himself in *his* daddy’s workboots!

January 27, 2007

When we look outside, we usually are looking for similar things: 1) is daddy coming home from work yet? 2) are Ricky and Tommy and dog Sammy outside (because then we head out too), or 3) is it snowing (because guaranteed daddy will take all of us out to play when it does!).
We have had snow sprinkes 3 times now, enough to cover the ground, but never enough to make good snowballs. No problem, we still LOVE the snow. Mommy found the perfect boots for me, so we still head outside every day.

Thank you SO much for the prayers – they worked, truly. Bella’s family is so happy that she is in perfect health again. It was very frightening for them with her in the hospital, but the antibiotics cleared up the infection (do we know what it was?) and she is her normal precocious little self! She eats solids *already*, can you believe it? And she smiles like a little angel… We can see Ava’s eyes and head shape in her. Way to go little Isabella!

January 27, 2007

Laughing at mommy :) Yesterday was Ava’s 22 month birthday, today is my 6 months, and tomorrow is daddy’s 29th birthday (tee hee) and we are having a little get-together for him. I will get to see my birth mommy Val and gammy Brenda and grandpa Gerry too, they are stopping by!

January 27, 2007

I am quite drooly these days, because I have 2 new teeth! They are my bottom ones, and they are very beautiful. I love using them on people’s fingers and on my toys. For the past 3 days I have been a very cheerful girl, but for the 2.5 weeks prior to that I was not my usual self. Not only were my teeth pushing through, but I was a little sick (I was fighting off the stomach flu that ran through our family and also had Fifth Disease). It feels so good to be “me” again! (And mommy is very happy to have me back too!)

January 27, 2007

I turn *6 months old* today! For my half birthday, my mommy let me take my first real bath. Oh, I am so proud! I was hesitant for 10 seconds or so, and then loved loved loved it. I discovered how to splash the water with my palms within the first minute. And then I discovered my feeties under water (see me playing with them?).

January 27, 2007

Of course my sissie had to join in too! Here she is showing me how to do “splish splashy”. I had already figured it out, but I love it when she shows me things, so I look up adoringly at her.

January 15, 2007

(stomach virus blasting through our house, sorry for so few updates, mommy has a LOT to update… soon!), *BUT*:

My 3-month old little sister Isabella in Louisiana needs prayers – she is in the Pediatric Intensive Care! She has some kind of infection; she had a spinal tap, and they are waiting to figure out what kind of infection it is. Please join us as we*pray* for Isabella and my birth mommy Jenelle, and her whole family…

January 7, 2007

My grand-dad plays with me when he and Sue come for a visit. This time they brought tons of Christmas presents!

January 7, 2007

I probably am slowly approaching 18-19 pounds now, I am so big! I am slowing down with my eating/drinking, though, so my growth spurt may be over for the moment. My mommy’s back would like that very, very much :)

January 7, 2007

I am teaching my sister as much as I can – how to play “dollhouse”, for one. She gets things pretty drooly, but I am okay with that :)

January 7, 2007

I still love my baths! This morning daddy took me to the river (it has been in the 60’s here!) and he would *not* let me get in – I was so so so upset. Daddy had to call mommy to have a super FUN BATH ready for when we got home. I was very happy with that soluation! I kept calling it “swimming” while I was in the bath, I was pretending to be swimming in the river, ha ha.

My Adoption Day was January 3rd! We will celebrate this (like my birthday) every year – it is the one-year anniversary of my adoption finalization – the day I *legally* became a Smith. My mommy and daddy got a little emotional on this day, because they are so crazy in love with me, and so very thankful to my birth mommy Jenelle for giving me this wonderful life with them. Mommy says: “happy Adoption Day, sweetie”.

January 7, 2007

On Christmas Eve we had a nice family party, it was so wonderful and cozy. It was a mix of Keira’s family, my mommy’s family, and my daddy’s family.

January 7, 2007

It is almost 2 weeks past Christmas, and I am *still* opening Christmas presents. I have so many new toys, my sissie and I are quite spoiled.

January 7, 2007

My daddy had vacation for almost 2 weeks! We spent so much time together, it was so nice :)

Christmas morning – my Omi (mommy’s mom) and I are laughing…

January 7, 2007

When my auntie was here 2 weeks ago we went to Hersheypark and Chocolateworld. My auntie carried me everywhere and I was so snuggly I took naps on her too.

January 7, 2007

Here I am playing with Rian from our playgroup. He is around my age. I think my sissie is looking on to make sure he is gentle with me – “no-no eyes” (don’t touch the eyes)!
