My big sisters are very attentive and gentle to me. We make a jolly cute group, don’t we?

My sisters are petting me following a particularly messy outdoors diaper change – they are commiserating with me, what loving sisters.

Here is my whole family, with my adoption-sister (mommy just made up that word!) Livie. Ha ha, my daddy is pretty funny. He looks good in pink, eh?

September 23, 2006

Okay, here is a test for you: which is my adoptive mommy (Barbie) and which is my birth mommy (Val)? Don’t they look identical? This is not a great picture, but with their hair the same, the resemblance is striking…

My birth grandpa Gerry gets so *mushy* around me – he loves me sooooo much!

September 23, 2006

My birth nana Patrice and my going-on-four-years-old sister Oliviah came for their first ever visit to PA! Oh, we had such a wonderful time together! I flirted and flirted with my nana, and I loved being with my big sister. We did *so* many things… visit to Lancaster (the Amish), visit to Hershey (ChocolateWorld), Tiny Tumblers, Fun Fort, KidsBlast, York Fair, visits to family, dinners at grandma Connie’s… wow, and we still got in all our naps (darn it). My mommy cried when they left and I think I heard my daddy sniffing a little at the airport. We want them to visit again and again and again, and next time my birth mommy Jenelle will be able to come too!

When I am older, my parents will *not* let my skirts be this short, wink wink

My sister Livie (Oliviah) and I.

My sister read books to me at grandma’s house. I am in awe that she can (pretend) read! She was reading books about cookies…

September 23, 2006

My mommy bought me a new teddy backpack – it came in very useful when I was trying to touch the baby buffalo at the York Fair (she could pull me back if I got too close).

September 23, 2006

My sister and I each had a quick ride on Moses at our great-uncle and -auntie’s house.

September 23, 2006

Livie and I fished, and we won my *favorite* thing – a beach ball!

September 23, 2006

This is one of mommy’s favorite photos… I am snuggling up to my birth mommy Valie when she came to visit me. I love snuggling with her and we have a bond that will always be strong :)

Having lunch at the York Fair with my gammy Brenda.

September 23, 2006

My first carousel ride! I am tucked in on my birth mommy Val’s tummy (birth mommy, birth gammy, and birth Gerry came with us!). Isn’t my birth mommy pretty?

My grandma and I at a family dinner.

September 12, 2006

I saw my dear Gammy Brenda today (she is my birth mommy Val’s mom). Look at how I made adoring “lovey” eyes at her. I just *might* get to see my birth mommy this weekend, too, woohoo!

September 12, 2006

My visit with Gammy was special – we went to her work today. I was so alert and content for so long… look at how I am enjoying meeting all the people in my Gammy’s life, you can see it in the shape of my mouth and the twinkle in my eye :)

September 12, 2006

Here I am with a very special lady in my life, Lauren (I will share with you at a later date the story why she is so special!). Mommy also looked for a clear pic of Heather (a.k.a. to my mom as “Rachel’s mommy”), but she could not find a clear one… next time, then!

September 12, 2006

My gammy protected me from the slight chill outside… she cares SO much about me!

September 12, 2006

Mommy kisses these ALL THE TIME, it drives Ava and I bonkers! No, actually, it tickles and we love it :)

September 12, 2006

I only *look* bored… actually, I am very content – I looooooove warm baths.

September 12, 2006

Mommy has a sense of humor with our outfits, eh?

September 12, 2006

Hey, *this* here… right HERE… *this* is my baby sister!

September 12, 2006

Mommy forgot to tell me that when I help give my sis a bath, I am not supposed to *eat* the soap bubbles – yucky! (Actually, they tasted like watermelon) :)

September 12, 2006

I help Mia with her swing. Mommy is so very very very happy that Mia likes her swing – woohoo!

In 1.5 weeks my birth nana and my sister are cominig to visit us in PA for the first time ever – we are so, so, so excited! When I last saw my sister Oliviah (who is 3 turning 4) it was when I was only 7 months old. This time we will be able to play together some, so it will be so much different for us. Livie calls me a lot and says “hi” to me, finally I will be able to say “hi” right back to her :) One of the things my parents and birth mommy Jenelle have been so happy about is that I get to have a strong, loving relationship with Livie throughout my life, and they just love seeing our relationship blossom.

I had my 1-month checkup with my pediatrician last night – I am doing so well, Dr. Hertz says I just *look* so HEALTHY. I only have one small issue – I have thrush (that is why my tongue has always been so white, since I was born)… many docs just leave it untreated, but my mommy doesn’t mind the 4x per day treatment so we will be taking care of it (it is not communicable, no worries!). Anyways, here are my very impressive stats:

weight – 10 lbs 12 oz (90% percentile)
height – 21.75 in (75% percentile)
head circumference- 15 in (75% percentile)

Dr. Hertz made a predication that at my 15-month checkup in Fall of 2007, I will be the same size as my sister, isnt that neat?

I tried to hug my baby sister in the tub… we had so much *fun* in the tub together. We will be doing this a lot more in the future.

I still like pickles! The carpet could grow cucumber plants with all of the seeds that are in there now :) Hmmmm, actually…. this is a *great* idea… maybe I can try watering the carpet!
